These pictures aren't from the cool game yesterday, of course I didn't have my camera. They are from a game earlier in the season.

All of my friends and acquaintance's KNOW that I know nothing about sports, we don't play or watch sporting events. I don't know why, it was just never "our thing"... until Cody Joe came along. Yesterday, he had a basketball game and with 20 seconds left on the clock the score was 24 to 25 (Cody Joe's team down by 1). Cody Joe had the ball and was fouled by the other team... it was "free-throw time". Cody Joe got 2 shots and "banked" them both! Which made the final score 25 to 26. It was awesome! Even a dad from the other team saw us at Walgreen's after the game and told Cody Joe what a great job he did. I was getting into the "hype" and on the way home asked Cody Joe if he was going to go to basketball "auditions" for Jr. high next year, That officially ended my self proclaimed moment of glory as a "sports mom". When Cody Joe finished hysterically laughing at me, he informed me that they were "try-outs" NOT "auditions". Oh well, it was fun while it lasted :0). He really is a great b-ball player, I guess I will learn as I go...
